I have one of these.

it has this in it.

74k miles, £600, short MOT.

Passed MOT after fitting two £15 rear subframe bushes, and swapping to Winter wheels I picked up for £150 (original 15" BBS with some wintermaxx retreads, was cheaper than buying one 255 40 17 to replace the worn out one)

If you do town driving then don't do it, but if you sit on the motorway at 75-80 its doing circa 45-50 mpg, a Manual might be better around town.

tis indeed the same basic engine as used in the rangerover, the E36 and the Vauxhall Omega.
Its a TDS so intercooled 143 bhp as standard, Bosch mechanical pump but fully ecu controlled FBW, so it will take a chip (a physical open the case and swap the chip! which will take them to a conservative 175 bhp) but also run on Veg oil.

where are you getting your veg oil at, if that's what you're running it on?

I don't bother usually, as there's nowhere around here I've found yet doing it from the pump and its too much of a faff buying it from the supermarket, but when I'm over in Bristol I can get it at £1.10 a litre from the pump for proper Biodiesel.

suppose at £1.10 it doesn't work out saving you much really vs normal diesel unless you're running an HGV 24/7

Its about £1.35 a litre for normal diesel around here I think, but tbh I just put fuel in and drive LOL:

Normal veg oil off the shelf is about a quid a litre I think.

Got another 255 40 17, a year old contisport, still wrapped around a 9" e39 sport wheel, ideal.

Swapped the winter 15" remoulds off on the weekend, gave it its first wash this morning
