Hope that someone on here can answer this for me. Sadly my P3 driver seat has ruined bolsters, and after many hours scouring eBay for a replacement interior I've managed to locate a set of phase 2 seats with airbags. As we all know the seats themselves aren't compatible as P3's have 3 wires and P2 airbag seats only have 2, but are the covers themselves the same? I'm hoping to swap the covers over to make the drivers seat decent again (I know it won't be the easiest task in. The world!) but is it actually possible?

Thanks in advance Thumbs up

Wouldn't think so, the seat section bolsters are larger on P2 seats.

Scotzman - thanks for that. I'm aware the P2 non airbag seats are a totally different shape having seen them first hand, but wasn't aware the P2 airbag seats aren't the same shape as P3's.

I would tend to agree with your initial thought and say the later alcantara ph2 airbag seats are quite possibly the same size cover wise as the ph3 ones.

The ph1 alcantara ones obviously have bigger 'wings' as do the early ph2 non airbag mustang cloth ones.
