I've recently changed the following on my 6:
Wishbones, shocks/ springs, drop links, tie rods and track rod ends.
However when I went to get the tracking done there wasn't enough adjustment on the track rod end to sort the alignment with the rack centred (travk rod end wound all the way in).
Is it possible to install the tie rods incorrectly?
I've used the search function and found that there are different length ball joints on the wishbones for cars with/ without power steering. By eye the wishbone looks the same as the ones removed.
Is there anything else I might of missed. any help would be much appreciated..

No Sad couldn't suss it out. The drivers side track rod is wound all the way in. I'm sure it's a standard gti 6 rack but how can you tell??
I've had to have the car tracked for now and moved the steering wheel back to centre as there wasn't enough play to do so using the track rod ends :/
Not noticeable during normal driving. Lost a bit of lock obviously in one direction when parking etc but again not noticeable. Just annoying that I know it's not right!
