Gti-6 track project is coming on well but sloooow

Front has spax springs unsure of the drop

Rear is going to be lowered as it looks like a monster truck after being stripped and all that weight removed

Can anyone advise on the widest tyre wheel package please

Is it worth fitting bigger wheels too or stick with 15`s

Thank you

You could run 8' wide but would need a lower numbered offset somewhere between 0-10 so they clear the strut. You will probably need arch extensions as probably stick out of the bodywork.

Money would be far better spent on sorting the suspension than fitting wider tyres. Simply lowering the car isn't going to make it much quicker at all, wider tyres could even slow it down.

Your lowered car on spax whatevers isn't capable of using its 195 section tyres on track never mind anything wider. You really need to concentrate on getting the car to use it's tyres rather than over tyreing it.

Lol
I love wide wheels and its personal preference

I have done a good job of setting up my daily driver that I use regularly on track
Let me try and upload a pic of my daily
