Update.......
Before.....

after......

excuse the filthy rallye gets bad driving around where i live,il treat her to a wash this morning!!!

swapped the rear beam last night took an hour to swap the old unit out and about 2hr to get re-fitted.
Stripped the old beam of all braking components, the brake line from compensator to the flexi hose seized solid both ends,in fact all unions on the compensator were shot.

So for now iv had to do away with it and just made nee brake pipes going from what would be the left/right side of the uni to the flexi's seems ok so will do for now!!!
fitted new srt of beam mounts whilst it was out and just gotta swap shocks over as iv recently bought new ones!

Its lower than expected but looks awesome and the difference is like night and day as i expected.....it bloody awesome completely changed the feel of the car for the better!!!

Old and new....

I know when i fitted a rebuilt one to my black gti6 it was like a different car, you dont reliase how the car is meant to handle until you have a rebuilt rear beam fitted. Whats your next plans for it then ?

Ideally i would,ve liked a touch higher but its not bad and does look good, also had 2 adults in the back and didnt rub at all so im happy think it is more than 50mm lol

Does look funny as im over 6ft and the roofline is level with just above my waist lol

It was lowered 50mm on the VTS but i think VTS beams sit around 15 - 20mm lower on a 306 from memory?? I think if you lower the front a touch it will look good :-)

because when I got the car originally the fans weren't working and the wiring was just sort of wrapped around each other,it was a right mess so I got a revotec controller and some slim line fans.

my fault really as was a cheap fan should've maybe forked out a lil more for good on from cbs or something, all good now tho!!

loving the new beam also handling is amazing now highly recommended worth its weight in gold lol completely transformed the car....go and get one NOW! ! ! (if you haven't already!)
