Hi guys, I will be breaking the following engine shortly and parts available will be

RS head, complete with solid lifters and fitted with Piper 285 cams
As new Wossner pistons, will confirm what Conrod's are fitted
Lightened and balanced crank
Gti6 block and sump.

Will be stripping this shortly so will get some decent pics of everything. Can sell it all on there own or as a complete bottom end or complete head etc.

You interested in the head for your boosted engine? Not sure the cams will be suitable for boost..

yep for boost but really just after the solid lifters will prob get custom cams ground let me know as I say I'm just thinking about it it's not a definite. let me know when you have a price?

Ok, the head has been pressure tested and the engine was assembled by miles,
I'll have a chat with my mate as it isn't my engine and let you know.

Ok, to give an accurate price I really need to check what conrods are fitted.
If you were to purchase new you'd be looking at £550 for Wossner pistons, £450 or so for steel rods plus another hundred for bolts.

You wouldn't be interested in taking the whole bottom end? Comes complete with a balanced crank

The engine is complete currently and runs. Miles stripped and assembled the bottom end so it's all in perfect condition. The head was sent away and pressure tested then miles assembled it all using new bits, Cambelt, waterpump, gaskets etc etc.
We fitted it to my mates 205, had it running but has to much compression which became apparent on the rollers. We picked up a cammed engine and chucked that in to do a trackday and this engine is sat at my work. He's happy with a 200hp engine (cams and tbs) in the 205 so this one is just sat there.

The engine can be sold complete but will need compression lowering. The easiest way for us to sell the engine in bits and people can build it into there own spec. I wouldn't want somone to purchase this engine, fit it then come back to me complaining.

I need to check to see if pulley is still fitted. I can't remember if we changed it over as was 4am!!
No manifold, it's just the engine.

Not sure on compression ratio of pistons. When stripped I may be able to confirm which wossner ones they are.

Looking at the options of wossner pistons for gti6 there's only 2 options which are low and high comp. this is a normally aspirated forged engine so it'll be the high comp ones.

£1700 takes the whole lot.
Bargain for the kit in it. With the compression lowered by either skimming the pistons or a larger head gasket/spacer will make 240-255hp
