Wanted to buy something...

Not on fire yet, it tried very hard on the last track day. Fun day today, appears to have pulled a caliper bolt out the offside hub. Must be too committed on the brakes.

I never update this thread...

Car has had a lot of work this year, Bilstein 306 tarmac group A front suspension, new beam with Bilstein 205 group A tarmac dampers and 21mm bars, huge oil cooler and a low boost charger kit, something on reflection that was a massive waste of money (2nd hand and broken charger). Still boosts, just makes terrible noises.

So going to rip out the engine and box to go a different route. Should end up with around 220-240bhp, although 300 could be possible.

Gutted, did you buy the charger on here?

You going for 406 turbo? That’s the route I think I would take if I did it again.

I wasn't sure if I would need to remap mine so fitted standard cams back into it when I charged it. Is the fitting kit up for sale ?

Yeah it was good, very progressive power. Hard to get it cool enough on a warm day, still working on that tbh.

I checked the afr on Litchfield dyno before tracking it due to the cams. If anything they reduced power due to greater overlap

When the cover came loose did the impeller maul the cover and create high spots which are now still touching the impeller causing the noises?
