Hi guys.

My tailgate looks open when it's shut if that makes sense Crazy it's a standard P2 bootlid, when i grave the boot badge i can move the bootlid up and down a fair bit but i can't see anything untoward causing this.

When driving over uneven road surfaces it's knocks and bangs which i originally thought was my rear beam. Is there anyway I can adjust this at all. If i look at the car side on i can clearly see the rubber stops, the rubber seal and the top of the rear lights oh and daylight LOL

Any ideas guy?s many thanks.

Them rubber stops just above the lights twist in and out.
You want to wind them all the way in, loosen the boot catch and push that all the way down, tighten and shut the boot. If its too far in, undo the catch and pull out a bit. Keep adjusting like this till the panel sits flush then wind the rubber stops out until the boot shuts as you close it with a bit of force. Don't have it so you really have to slam it shut otherwise it might not close properly and pop open when driving....or when going around Donnington race way lol
