Help is needed before I destroy my car with a hammer

I have the flashy flashy airbag light and have done since owning it. Now its failed on that alone I have taken to electrics!

I have replaced all the connectors under both seats and checked the connectors under the centre console.

I have even got some resistors from cully but still wont cancel.

The light goes out on ignition as it should and then comes back flashing about a minute or so later. Please help!

Anyone have a pp2000 anywhere near cambridge?

Thanks Andrew

how many airbag devices has the car?
2x side
2x pretensioners
1x passenger
1x streering wheel

if you have checked the pretensioners
i suggest checking the steering wheel bag connections under the top cowl Wink

but as said in PM's
PP2000 will tell where the fault lies

Then it will still fail the MOT... To my understanding the MOT has to check that the light comes on initially upon start up and then goes out. So just depends how well they do their job I suppose its easier for them to forget about it if it doesn't come on at all compared to if it actually comes on and stays on.

I have one here, not overly far from you but far enough.

If the bulb is taken out they shouldn't fail it and should only advise that the light doesn't work?

got plenty of spares here too if needed.

No, if the light doesn't come on it cannot fail now. I think if it comes on and stays on then it is a fail but the MOT rules are as silly as you can get in some area's
