So my side airbag light is constantly lit. Any quick things I can check or do? Got mot on Monday so need a quickie. Can I just take the relay out and if so where is it located?

Cheers

And if they are, then unplug them and then plug them back in again.

You will need to fiddle around with them so that they are off long enough for the MOT and then afterwards when you get 5 minutes, cut the plugs off and make a nice job of bullet connectors the wires together. This will solve the issue. Yes

Thankfully it passed its MOT yesterday with not even 1 advisory. I am guessing the tester was not too vigilant haha - but yeh I still want to solve it.

I read that apparently the internal Peugeot bulletin about this said to cut off the connectors and solder them together. But some say this increases the resistance and could potentially trigger them. Will look at ordering some of these connectors.

Are they just as easy to fit?

Soldering will not increase the resistance over a plug in connector.

You need connectors, as that way you can remove the seats easily as you say.

Some decent bullet connectors will solve the problem for sure.

be carefull if soldering with a mains soildering iorn as the element may leak enough current to fire the airbag!

warm up the iorn then unplug it to do the solder job Wink

Thanks for the tip. Think I will go with the connectors to start with. Sounds the easiest and best option.
