Yes but would you rather take your time and do it properly then enjoy it more after ran in or just go at iit flat out, kill it then spend money rebuilding it again? Thats what would be running through my mind.

How hard is it to drive sensible for around 100 mile or so??? Laugh my ass off

I've had expensive engines I've run in properly at low speed how the old school way of running is done others I've opened up very early on and haven't come across problems with either way, whether this is luck or judgement all I can say is The key to bedding in is to get the rings to seal properly and the use of the the right oils and changing it often when running in! I can't see a reason to not run it in with the charger attached!

Run it with the charger attached as long as you have a decent base map.

If not, then don't.

my 2.1 forged NA engine took under an hour to bed in on the rollers.

I bedded mine in just as stated with lots of wide open throttle up to 4k then letting off and letting it coast down before planting it again. On the motorway on the way back from lynx,when i had done about 200 miles I let it go to 4.5-5k before letting off the throttle.
