For Sale BE3 PTS 6 Speed gear box with 5.3 CWP out of my rallycross car comes with rose jointed gear linkage rods. No LSD as i have fitted into my new BE4 box Looking for £900 can post at cost or can be collected. Have new pressure plate to suit for additional £50 Marty  ________________________________________ 206 Rallycross GTI6 SC SHB 425 BHP clutch eater !!! |

Hi Had it on my HB for one event and worked great no noises or rattles as gear kit is uprated but still Helical gears so it will take the Torque form these engines. Top speed on mine at 7500 rpm was 121mph with 15 " rims But it got there extremely fast !!! Only selling as changed to GTI180 engine and it has a BE4 box so off back to PTS for a new gear kit once this sells. is it "just" a normal BE3-6 with a different FD or are the ratios in the gears different as well? |

Hi Its had a PTS gear kit fitted with 5.3 cwp but the ratios are the same as a standard GTI6 box which i found to be great for the tracks i raced as it was all 3rd and 4th gears around the track. Marty ________________________________________ 206 Rallycross GTI6 SC SHB 425 BHP clutch eater !!! |

Hi with the 5.3 cwp and the standard ratios the gear changes are pretty close see chart attached Don't think you would need it any closer otherwise you will be changing gear every 2 seconds. Hi Bought it from Pete-Rallye off here back in August and since then it has done 2 laps of lydden and 3 races at croft. He said it was his spare box he ran when he was struggling to get parts for his straight cut boxes he runs in his race car but did not need it anymore as he found a supplier for his boxes. Sticking with the GTI6 motor as the 180 engine was just too much hassle in the end to fit correctly which is strange as its a 206 but nothing fits correctly or as well as the GTI6 engine does in the chassis....Marty ________________________________________ 206 Rallycross GTI6 SC SHB 425 BHP clutch eater !!! |
