You'll need to throw money at the car. Not on parts. Just stand near your car and throw loose change at it, I find this increases performance for a short period of time

Had a good look today and i found DS to have TRE movement and PAS side to have wheel bearing movement.

Easy fix so will sort those tomorrow and hope she flies through her MOT next week Smile

Yes, and by tightening it up you will remove that play. Yes

I haven't tightened it though bud. The wheel bearing is f**ked it's not the hub nut at fault.

Wheel bearings do fail unfortunately. If only tightening hub nuts worked every single time Sad

Obviously if a wheel bearing fails then yes, it'll need replacing.

However, a lot of the time a bearing hasn't failed but the hub nut requires tightening to get rid of this movement.

a wheel sealed bearing should never need tightening if it was tightened sufficiently and pinned in the first place. Sounds like the bearing is f**ked. over tightening the hubnut is likely to kill the bearing off for good.

Stan I think you're wrong here.

Get the bearing changed for a decent quality replacement, not a cheapy Chinese thing, else you'll be 'for ever tightening those hubnuts'...

It's been replaced. I done it last week now LOL also replaced the TRE's as a pair even though only 1 was mullered.

As said i didn't crank the hubs nuts up as iirc they should only be done up at 265nm which is what i put them to.
