Don't go powerflo you will hate it I had the receipt of £400 with the rallye for a cat back.. Ripped it straight off to boomy and loud. Sold it on here for £60 couldn't give it away at the time

sounds like it depends who does it for you then....

This is a vid of mine - sounds loudish when your near the exhaust but then its going to. Towards the end when the camera is not near the exhaust you can barely hear it.

Though I suppose its all down to personal taste. Must admit the first week or so it was very as you say boomy and loud but after it settled down its pretty decent.

Why risk getting a branch of one of those exhausts that are truly $hite when you can just pop up to torque techniques!

Ive had a lot of experience with poweflow. My first car had one fitted (£330 catback). It was very well put together. It sounded lovely and looked the part! As said, you can choose how loud you want it and hundreds of tailpipes to choose from. My bro then decided to get one but they made a bit of a hash of it Sad . Then came my '6. After i blew my Rage backbox up LOL i decided to go Powerflow again. Devil De-cat, race centre pipe and Powerflow box with a 3 1/2" outward rolled tailpipe. All put together very nicely with a noise level of 8! It was very loud but sounded amazing especially through tunnels! I will certainly be going there again!
