Hi i have just got a BE3 6 speed PTS tarmac box and am trying to swap the LSD diff from my BE1 box but when i try and set it up it has too much pre load on the bearings and goes tight.

I think this unit should fit as its the same size as the old unit and wanted to know if anyone has the correct instructions on how to set up the diff as i have searched and it just says the speedo housing controls this, there was a shim in the box of bit that came with the gearbox but even with this removed when i set it up it makes the gearbox tight.

Any ideas?

Marty

All sorted the Lsd outer casing was catching the back side of the bell housing only worked this out when i put a shaft in and forced it round and could see the marks on the diff and housing so machined a little off and it all works great so in with the engine on Thursday and we should have it running for Saturday
