Iv'e been offered one of these for a tidy price, its made by a firm called DeLuz although i can't find much info on them. What i have found out is they are very prone to distortion when going through repeated heat cycles
Anyone know anything about them?

slight bit of confusion, the guy who is offering this actually replicates them so it's not a genuine DeLuz mani, he uses a 12mm head flange rather than 10mm, apparantly this cures the distortion issues

Are you thinking of using this for a turbo setup?

T99pug the only thing i can see being a problem is if its going to crack! the design looks quite good though does appear that the turbo will sit very far back rather than the usual style of over the gearbox?
how much does he sell them for if you dont mind me asking?

To be fair for the price difference I'd just pay the extra £260 for a dp engineering manifold especially if there are concerns of cracking! better to do it once than risk it i think?

This Yes

I can understand buying a cheaper alternative if the quality/design is the same etc, but as they say, "buy cheap, buy twice". As the difference isnt much more on the top, I would be going for a DP one Yes

Im still interested in doing a twin-charged engine at some point. Nice little forged 2.2 turbo and c30-94 would give awesome drive ability! full boost by 3.5k and holding strong till the redline!
Buy cheap buy twice. Might be worth giving Carl a shout now that his T 16 has been mullerred?
