Niall if I have to uprate my injectors when I go high boost mine will be up for sale if you needed some. Gotta love the noise of a screw type charger though. It's one thing I wish mine did. Though my charger whistles pretty loud anyway.

If you do mate, let me know and ill probably have them. Its probably safer that i upgrade them before mapping. Even if the GTi ones could manage, at least ive got more scope for future power upgrades.

The charger is from a Mercedes SLK220. It arrived yesterday and is in very good condition. Well chuffed considering it cost me £50!
Intercooler wise, a mate has offered me the original one from his R26 megane which as im told by all the derv boys on OC, is the same dimensions as a Jag Xtype one which is almost a perfect fit. Im not sure if this will be too small to be honest.

What you gonna do with the clutched charger pulley?

It'll be an m45 off a later 220 then, as far as I'm aware all the m62 slks had clutched pulleys

The later cars got the smaller charger in a couple of different castings with various part no.s. The earlier ones only came in one shape with a clutched pulley. Post a pic or the merc part no. up if you can

The ones on the coopers have a stupid shaped outlet cast into the charger making piping it all up really difficult.

And your asking too much money. Give it to me for 1k and ill have it lol

All the merc ones are easier to mount although some have two inlets. They're all noisy Razz

So won't budget are planning on? I personally think it a good deal considering a new kit is 3200 ish.

So u need brackets, manifold, charger, intercooler, ecu map or stand alone.

budget? As little as possible. Put it this way, so far ive got my charger, an intercooler, some pipework and a manifold to chop up and ive spent less than £100. Brackets are free as i will be making that my self and have all the metal in my pile. Most expensive bit will be the ecu and mapping.
