Hi guys, are/is there any reason/s for this not to work? All other dials, lights etc work fine but not the rev counter. I've done the normal thing of giving it a bash, but nothing? Could it be simply worn out Dunno

my next thing after checking fuses was to consider changing clocks but didnt want to lose look dodgy when selling it, despite the money earning disco trousers...

Its probably just worn out And tbh - especially knowing of your love of trying to get the needle bent around the stop pin !

i did have a set of phase 3 clocks but its a set form a gti6 will try and round up and let you know when i have them so you can try it and eliminate the problem....

any change youve bumped your loom? at the front under the radiator??

i bought my xsi with a non working rev counter etc

turns out the loom had taken a knock from a curb of someting a spliut a few wires. front passenger side of the loom right under the rad.

some were cut entierly and some were nie on close to corroding through
