Yes it's for sale..
For sale is my lovely little 1.3 as I now have a Seat Leon FR AND a Fabia Vrs as a dailies through work.WIN

This is now my 5th Rallye and one of the best. I decided to put it up for sale rather than 16v it like I have done in the past and apparently it's naughty.

107xxx miles so quite below avg.
tax end of Nov
Mot March or Apr 2014

The only known S1 I know of with sunroof AND Abs factory options. Both work and sunroof doesn't leak.

Engine-
Standard 1.3 8v
K&N panel filter in original airbox
Raceland 4-2-1 exhaust manifold
2" manifold back Pugsport exhaust
Nissens aluminium core radiator
Spoox motorsport top radiator and oil return hose

Cambelt and waterpump in late 2010 with proof, less than 10k miles since then.
Doesn't use oil or water. Idles spot on.
Recent New thermostat and housing and both temp sensors. I also replaced lambda sensor.

Other-
Griffiths quickshift
GrpN gear linkage set
10 mm bonnet raisers
Dewipered rear (still have wiper motor)

Brakes-
Standard ABS front disc 247mm (can supply great condition 266 mm set up)
Goodridge braided hoses up front
standard rear drum set up

Interior-
pretty mint apart from a small hole on driver side bolster, 10p sized.(see pic)
Non smoking or pets
Factory keypad immobiliser
Aftermarket headunit
Standard speakers

Mint Red S1 steel wheels with good Bridgestone tires.

Standard suspension, all dampers are in good shape and no issues with springs. It's very nimble.
GrpA full PeugeotSport France Solid engine mounts x3.

Bad bits first!
Anyone who has bought a cat off me can vouch for me describing my cars as the are and with honesty.

It has a 5 p sized rust patch in the boot and near nearside rear sill. Neither we're even noted on the Mot bit I'd advise to have a patch over it in the next year or so.
Roof had been faded and neglected but I spend hours polishing and cutting it and now the paint fade is very minimal and not noticeable.(see pic)
Tiny crack in rear bumper and a tiny dent on passenger door, only visible from certain angle.(see pic)
Wishbone rear mounts knock over bumps. This isn't an advisory but I will probable fit brand new lower arms if I have time,or supply New lower arms if price is met, because the Noise is annoying.at £53 delivered for two lower arms it's a easy fix!

Good bits-
Overall the cleanest S1 I've seen or owned, polished up and cleaned it gets a huge amount of attention and compliments as you'd expect.

Goes very well and revvs very freely all the way through the rev range.
It's a very honest little car, JUST as described and is best seen and driven to be apprenticed!
Plenty of history and club owned for last 6 years.

I'm after £1400 for It
Genuine offers only please

Yup. I'll either have it done before sale or take less for it.

I'd take £1250 without welding and £1375 as it is.

Would be such a shame, I'd love this if I had the money for 2 cars.

It would genuinely be worth putting a note in the title advising anyone with less than fibre optic broadband not to open the thread, à la the good old 56K warnings of the 90s.

Here's a pic of the rear arches now, look a lot better

Front bumper now has been touched up and stonechips are hardly noticeable and has made the car a lot more presentable!

All four sill areas below and pic of tiny blob of rust in the boot.
