Noticed this morning that I have a pretty severe leak, much to my dismay.

Drivers seat was soaked and on a left had bend on the road to work a stream of water poured all over my legs. Appeared to be coming from the central interior light/sunroof controls.

I'll pull it apart and have a look over the lot, is there anything in particular I should be keeping ab eye out for or any common problems.

Cheers,

Pebbles Thumbs up

My phase 1 started doing this was a case of fitting a new aerial base mount! the seal goes around that and then collects in the interior light! hope that's of use.

Did my ariel base but was not that.

Mine was the metal frame that looks like its sealed to the glass that then sits on everything to make it move.

I had to remove lining then washed thecar to see where the water was running in. A drop of sealant along the frame corners attached to the glass and sorted.

Sunroofs coming out as soon as I get me carbon blanking panel!

There are 4 drains on the sunroof, if the aerial base isn't leaking one of the drains could be blocked.

If the drains are blocked you can clear them with a compressed air line. This happened to my old 106.
