Chap at Halfords recc Shock & Unlock or 3in1 High Performance Penetrant Spray to loosen up the brake nipple nut
http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_189604_langId_-1_categoryId_255223

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QuLExeu3UEM this was very important - the cube / piston needs to be wound CLOCKWISE !!!

Must have been the pressure I was applying that got mine back in slightly when turning anti-clockwise LOL

Clockwise=in,so yeah it does!!!Razz

Turn a bolt clock wise and it tightens/goes in,anti-clockwise and it loosens/comes outLOL

Yeah just undo cap so there is less resistance for the fluid being pushed back inThumbs up

If you unscrew the reservoir cap, you will achieve what you need to do without loosening off the nipple. Thumbs up

Success! So rewarding getting the job done without going tut garage & knowing it's done properly Smile

Piston went in easily (turning clockwise, ahem) with reservoir cap slackened off. Managed to wind other piston with screwdriver shaft, although had to go to local tyre place to slacken the wheel bolts - bent the nut release bar (? aka strong arm) trying to get em off (turning anti-clockwise!)

Awesome help, thanks again Thumbs up
