What makes me laugh is how most people here would happily go into an arcade and think nothing of putting £5 in a fruit machine or changing up £5 to put in the 2p machine and yet winge like merry hell when they're charged a fiver for a year's worth of posting...Laugh

I think people need to be realistic. Yes

The poll says it all... I don't think it's the money that people mind about its the outdated forum and its quite. If it was booming with people like it was before the change I don't think people would mind so much. Plus this place does need to be updated the site looks old.

Exactly, it was free for many, many years and now we have to pay for the same outdated forum, that is the main reason why its turning into a snail like the French lol.

Sorry Rikky meant paid members! Because I know the costs are high to run a domain!

I really don't understand the point of this thread...

The forum isn't going to become 'free' again, so why argue about it?

I'm happy with the forum as it is, to be fair it's easy to use.
I've been on plenty of other forums & tbh the increased functionality doesn't appear to be used & they appear soulless

In my defence, I am very old & I don't think this interweb thingy will catch on...

Cool

I like this forum because it's not full of stupid pictures at the bottom of every post, other forums with said pictures just become a chore to scroll through, especially when trying to kill a bit of time on my phone.

This forum does everything i want a forum to do, the only niggle i have with it now is the auto delete thing which i despise, so much useful info has been lost already. Sad

I'm happy to pay to be a member tbh, just renewed for another year. Yes

I agree Wayne, the forum is very user-friendly and I like the way it is over the layout of many other forums. Yes

I'm on Suzuki forums as well and I really don't like the modern functionality of them, I prefer this one.
Plus, more complex forums seem to take longer to load up as well which is annoying...

I like the layout and functionality of this forum.

It's the people/moderators I don't like.

Well Owain is already banned, so he won't read that.

To deal with this I've began cutting on myself.

There lies the reason With so little members that's the reason why it costs so much if there were 10,000 members id be a bit miffed but I'm more than happy to pay after all its barlely more than 3 litres of fuel! The forum suits my needs and 99% of the time remains very freindly and helpful with a touch of pedantic! Thumbs up

Don't really go on here anymore but I love the layout. So much better than the 350z forum. But I won't be renewing I don't think. I still have 2 years left though so not really a problem ATM.
