For sale is my beloved 306 maxi.

A bit of history....
I was involved in building all the 306 factory body components for Peugeot Sport. This car is a a road version of the maxi.

This is probably the last steel bodied 306 available. I also have spare steel wings available to suit.

Pictures can be seen here http://www.flickr.com/photos/100856243@N03/

Looking for £11500 - feel free to call with any questions

Engine is standard rallye engine and box. Low mileage with a k&n.
seats are out of a pricy Mitsubishi evo and are really nice.

Thanks for the comments Smile

Hi Geoff,
You really need to give us a lot more detail, ie
Suspension front & back.
Are the wishbones Dimma or tubular.
Are front hubs std or pug sport items.
Front arb, is it std or pug sport.
How have you achieved the increased track at the rear.
Rear tb's & arb sizes & source.
Rear beam mounts solid or std.
Detailed pics of inner wing mods, etc, etc....

Where I'm going with this is 11.5k is a s**tload of money, we have already established that the engine is std, if you are going to get anywhere near what your asking it needs to have all the right mods.
Being an old fogy I remember a car like this coming up for sale that was a fully documented peugeot sport factory car, no seam sealer & seam welded, it had proper pug sport suspension on it & a tuned engine, full cage etc, think it belonged to a guy called Bono iirc, it sold for considerably less than 11.5k.

Cool

Bono's car wasn't a Proper maxi though was it? Stickered up dimma but had a high powered na mi16 2.0 engine with plenty of power. did have some trick bits though.

Must if been sold like 5 years ago. Was back when French sports club forum was the place to be haha

I agree this is a one off Car but no maxi because if I'm right all of those were built on s16 body shells. a long time before 1999! If it was maxi replica then all good but it appears to be a Maxi panel built Dimma. in the other thread on this car it said standard running gear too. Good luck with the sale very nice looking car!

Does look awesome, but £11.5k is a lot for what it is! I could give numerous 306 related examples that are worth similar amounts but given that it is by far and away the best looking maxi/dimma 306 that is on this forum then maybe someone is willing to cough up? As always, something is only worth what someone is willing to pay. I'd love it if I could afford it.

Just some more spec on what it is yes the maxi cars where built before 1999 but I was not allowed to produce a maxi bodied 306 while the maxi program was in use ,
As all the maxi body work and under body components ie inner wings ,top mounts approx 25 separate parts where produced by myself for peugeot sport in Paris 50 homologated cars in kit form , all in .8mm steel to be built by rally teams My baby has all the real mods on it it was always waiting for a proper engine box etc etc
Never got around to it

Id personally start again with a proper ad listing all the spec, some proper photos not just a link including suspension pics, rear beam that sort of thing.

Good luck with the sale though.

Looks superb, but very pricey. Would need some very special suspension to make it worth that sort of money.

as welshy said my BTCC 306 was only slightly more to buy!

would love to on this, sadly don't really have space!

more info and pics needed please.

Oi cheeky git what about mine!

It's not a maxi at all, just a Dimma with raised inner arches....
If I was to sell mine I would only ask £12 snd that's with alot of carbon and a super high boost lump fitted!
I maybe wrong but I doubt you will even get half what your asking to be fair..
Just keep it mate Thumbs up
