Looking at it now I wish I'd powder coated the gearbox casing but once fitted it will only get dirty anyway. So happy to see this coming together. My bank balance on the other is definitely not as happy Sad

Looking great, if I had the money I'd have thrown as much at as you Ollie, but with the use of a second shell for the widetrack and wide arch didn't want to throw too much at the Rallye though hopefully this will stop much of the rust the rallyes seem to get. Cheers Mark

Wouldn't have wanted anything for the blaster or grit bud, it's just sitting here doing nothing!
Makes s**t loads of mess tho and takes ages to clean up Sad
Looking good bud, have you checked that the bumper fits with the coolers like that?
I couldn't get mine to fit that way round with out destroying the bumper, then again it doesn't really matter with a standard bumper Thumbs up

It fits perfect with standard bumper took us ages to get them to fit behind like they do, just got to get this finished ASAP need some boost back in my life. The coolers sit centrally behind the footlights. Smile

Ah I now see why, just looked at the dimma bumper and it curves on loads towards the chassis legs compared to a standard bumper

If I was to have them the same as yours I would have had to remove a lot of the chassis leg front panel... Sod that lol
Either that or had big square cut out in the bumper

Tell me about it yours is putting mine behind lol

That very strange because the coolers fit behind the wide arch bumper when I hold it up in place on mine.

Just a helpful hint: you might want to take a bit of material away from the upper engine mount support leg before you paint the bay as you cant remove the inboard pulley bolts to then gain access to the charger bolts.
I can take a pic and some measurements if you like?
I didn't realise you couldn't get the bolt out so now have to touch it back up with paint

Sorry for s**te pics, my phone camera is playing up
With a rule in line with the mount you want to take out from 35mm to 65mm and take out around 4-5 mm (it's only the head of the bolt that doesn't cleal, the shank is fine)

I see why yours fits, you dont have the slam panel on which comes down lower than the angled front plates.
Again not a problem for you but I also didn't want to cut my slam.panel up

Edit: forget the above as just looked at mine and it shouldn't be a problem, I just remember my engine one wouldn't fit but the charger one would and didn't want them to be different

Almost just awaiting Guages Smile then down to lynx for engine fitting and plumbing so will be the last I see of it till I can drive it. Working so hard at home on this and at work putting in some hours to pay for the seemingly endless bills Sad
