just wandering what others are getting mpg wise from there 6's. I managed 450miles from the tank on way home from picking it up before refueling was doing 75-80 all the way getting an average of 35 mpg.

best ive seen from a tank in my latest 6 was 380 miles. Not so long ago i went down south to visit a mate, pushing hard most of the way, half motorway cruising at well over legal limit other half on twisty B roads, i got 368 miles before the light came back on. General commuting around town and odd blast here and there see's about 320 ish |

Best economy is 34.25mpg on a tank on a long motorway trip. Miles per tank, my best ever is 396mls for 33.06mpg, which was on another long trip pushing it deep into fuel light territory though. Commuting to work is around 320 miles per tank for about 28 - 29mpg. Kev it is about £70 to fill the tank with 98 octane. ________________________________________ Cherry Rallye SOLD |

the light just came on a couple miles befor service station so not to bad by the sounds of things i spose for a 15 year old 2.0 16v |

i was running 195/45/16 at the time but now hav cyclones on. car has only dun 59k dont know if that wud hav made a difference |

I managed 32-33mpg between Oxford and Folkestone on the way back to Germany on 95RON fuel. I wasn't particularly trying for MPG but I did stay between 70 and 75, had a fair bit of kit in the car as well actually. I've also got a mitsi gto it doesnt half drink the stuff and my 4motion golf i had b4 that was saying 14mpg on a hard drive! So a 2litre isnt ealy that bad for me |
