The most recent pic of my car taken at fcs on Saturday

I brought this car in December 2012 after my old 6 got completely smashed up because of a woman t boned me due to not paying attention. Some of you may remember my thread 'another 6 gone'
Anyway, I got the car with just under 75k on the clock, pretty much standard apart from a ram air induction kit, pugsport exhaust, yellow fogs, wind deflectors and bonnet catches.
Jobs done so far:
• full service
• removed induction kit and put back to standard
• miles gear linkages
• magnex de-cat
• replaced both lower arms and drop links
• gaz gha coilovers and rear dampers

Jobs to do:
• get refurbished rear beam fitted from Jord294. (Wednesday)
• fit the nissens rad that I got from fcs on Saturday
• get cambelt replaced (due to time not mileage)
• fit new tre's
• new discs and pads all round. No major rush, pads still have enough meat on them but discs have a lip
• give engine bay a bloody good clean

At the moment the car is my daily drive but I'm looking at getting a daily diesel ASAP so I can start doing track days in this. Obviously it's no where near a 'track car' yet but it's something I've always wanted to do.
I don't plan on spending stupid amounts of money on it but any advice on decent mods for a fast road/track car much apreciated. Obviously I can't go ripping seats out and putting a roll cage in yet as the kids have got to sit somewhereLOL

Thanks for lookingThumbs up

Pretty sure I have brand new rear discs and genuine pads here, so I could fit them tomorrow when I do your beam?

Just an idea Wink

How it sits now after a quick cleanBig grin

Much better looks wise but more so handling wise.
Also fitted the replacement rad yesterday. Starting to get through my small list which will only result in making a new list after.LOL
Can anyone recommend someone close to Kidderminster/Worcester to do my cambelt for me? I've already got the kit and water pump just need it fitting.

I'm not keen on them either but they were already fitted when I got the car. I've got more important things to replace before the bonnet though. I do agree it would look a lot better without themThumbs up

Thats a shame! Did you get it any closer to a 'track car'? Im doing exactly the same project. Would have been good to watch.

No I didn't, I finished my list of 'jobs to do' though, except for replacing the discs/pads. The only reason I'm gunna sell it is because I've decided to get back into motocross and I've also brought my little boy a quad bike, so I'm gunna get a medium size van instead. Also my mrs has started doing her driving lessons again so I will have to get a sensible diesel car aswel that she can get insured on. Can't really see the point in having 2 cars and a van.
