New spigot rings arrived today so put them on when I got back from work. Just been for a motorway thrash and vibration has gone Big grin

To say im happy is a bit of an understatement. The car is well on its way back to feeling decent again. Even at 30 mph you can feel the difference.

So ive learnt something this week, spigot rings are absolutely crucial and for the tenner it costs to replace them it would be rude not to and unless your on clones should surely be the first thing to replace if you have annoying vibrations on the motorway Thumbs up

Good detective work, and must be a huge relief. Worth remembering the wheel bolts only do part of the work. The weight of the car and the location of the wheel on the hub is through the hub ring.
