I've been offered a 2000 plate hdi for £500 got tax mot looks well looked after, but there is problem that it keeps cutting out when driving, starts and fires up first time after, the engine lights comes on when the problem happens, he said he changed the high pressure fuel pump last year for recon one, and this problem only just started happening

Any advice would be great and is it worth the 500 he wants for it I've nocked down by 100 already

Thanks jase

bargain, get the codes read by someone with PP2000 or similar, might be a relay or the low pressure pump if the high pressure pump has been changed.
