Hi can anyone tell me the part number, spec or where to buy new front caliper sliders from for a stanndard 2000 (w) Gti.

motorfactor or pug dealer or brake part specialist will help you, they're not specific to the git6, i.e nearly every D8 406 used the same type or slider and similar girling caliper.

In-correct. Ive been down to euro car parts and got a kit, been to fit it and the new sliders are shorter and thinner than the ones that have come out the 6 so the caliper rattles around like mad! Nightmare. Going to go to Pug and find someone who knows what I need.
