Was out driving and the Ball Joint sheered off causing wishbone to pivot to the floor and the drive shaft popped out the half shaft and was dragged along!

My wheel locked up but she stayed straight and controllable as everything is rock solid!

I actually praise the fact i had my solid drop links fitted because if the standard ones were fitted then it would of been a big problem. Basically the solid drop link stopped the wheel going out under the arch!! The top rose joint is slightly bent but if that was a standard drop link it would of just completely failed!

Has anyone with a stiff set up ever had a ball joint fail as out of everything that the only standard part of the suspension setup that seems there is no aftermarket alternative.

Im guessing the pot holes and the narrow angled speed humps have just battered the ball joint weakening it which has caused it to fail.

Replaced the ball joint and need a new rose joint and new tyre oh and a nile blue wing as the guy putting it on the flatbed proper damaged it where the wheel was being dragged up on the flat bed.
