I'll start by saying that I'm in no position to afford this right now, but I'm weighing my options up with this thing as the engine is giving me a lot of grief at the moment.

How much should I expect to pay for just a head & block complete, with no ancillaries/manifolds/anything else?

Might not need this after all. The death rattle & low oil pressure turned out just to be a loose crank pulley! She'll live another day! Thanks anyway folks. Thumbs up
