Time has come to somehow squeeze a 16 row ideally oil cooler on the front of my supercharged 6 somewhere. After a thermostatic plate plus oil lines and ideally 16 row cooler. See what anyone's got going before I fork out for a new one.

I've got a brand new thermostatic plate that I'll not be using, yours for £35+postage. Also, would you like some brackets welded onto your FMIC like I did to my LBSC6?

As you can see from the pictures the bumper requires some fairly comprehensive trimming. If you send me your FMIC and order your cooler to be delivered to me I can supply the mounting bobbins so it all fits correctly.

Looks top work Davey but am after a complete kit really, also my inter cooler is welded to the front slam panel so can't really send it to you. Want the cooler to sit to the right of the inter cooler as well.

How much for complete kit delivered? Also is the plate thermostatic? Pics please.

How is your alloy cooler welded to a steel slam panel?

It can be done, Audi for one use a mig process for welding ally to steel but its not something I'd expect to see done on a Peugeot.

Ask lynx they did it! Lol. I'm Intreagued now actually. It's nut and bolted to the lower slam panel but the two coolers are welded to brackets which are welde to the top slam panel. Having a proper look means taking bumper and grille off again which I'm not doing till I fit the cooler.

Ally wont be welded to the steel, there will be brackets you can't see or something.

The oil cooler bracket is bolted to the I/C. I made that part. Lynx then welded that to the slam panel, so it should come apart.

I can't remember mate just know it all came off your car hole and was welded to the slam panel. I don't need to take it off anyway as there's room on the O/S for an oil cooler to go between the IC and fog light. Now I think about it I've got pics from when I fitted it Wink. But no sig at the gf's to upload from phone. IC bolted to steel brackets holding SC cooler which are welded to top slam panel.

Hmmmm it it rubber pipe work or braided and is it thermostatic? Have just ordered a new seal for behind the cooler as mine has sprung a leak anyway. And will be removing the standard heat exchanger.

I've managed to grab a full 16 row satreb / mocal kit with lengthy hoses brand new on eBay for cheap. Not sure if plate is thermostatic or not yet. If if isn't I'll have it off you Wink
