my ecu is supposed to be mapped for a standard gti6 with 270 cams, i have temporarily wired it into my car just to make sure its working but now theres no spark. wiring is correct.

Also i phoned OBR to ask about the interface needed for communicating with ecu and they want £700Shock

Any ideas? i wasnt expecting for it to run my engine properly but i did expect it to do something, i'm getting fuel but no spark. Using a new xantia turbo coil pack and leads

Race technology sell interfaces for only £150 but only work with Euro 4,6 and 12. OBR said they would rent me one for £100 per week but tbh i want one to own

Ever wish you'd listened to one of the few people on here that have experience with EFi stuff? Did I not say that the comms leads are extortionate?

For the final time, save yourself a world of f**king about and buy a DTA.

The last Euro1 I saw that was pre-mapped had the exact same issue, sparked once when engine was cranked, then never again. Caused 2 very experienced guys an awful lot of f**king about to get it to work, so much in fact, I gt bored and went home so I don't even know what caused it. Good luck.

As I'm feeling kind, try giving the guys at TMSport a ring, and ask about Lee's BTCC 306 and how did they get it running.

quite right it wont bladdy fit, its like the J4r coilpack but not quite the same.

8 valve XU will do the trick too, same as the 106 item other than the plug at a different angle.

may just cut my losses here, my own fault for not doing relevant research before buying. thought it was a bargain, i already knew next to no one could map it but i have a contact who has experience with efi but can't do anything without the interface

100% definately wired in properly, although guy had 2 different ecus for sale, starting to wonder if ive got the ecu that was setup for bodies although dont think that would make a difference to ignition side of things
I have a feed at coil but nothing from ecu pins 25 and 26 whilst cranking. crank sensor is fine

It's come straight off the 205 with touring car manifold. There is a single 106 coil pack with 4 leads. I would not sell you something different to what you was expecting?

You should have 30amp to + on battery, 15amp to ign live, and an earth. air, water, coil and 4 injectors which can go on anyone you like
Don't use the map lead

SUCCESS! car now runs on EFi, doesnt run nice mind you but at least i know my wiring skills are up to the job, basically the cause of the lack of spark was dirty pins on the crank sensor plug, also i'm a step closer to obtaining the interface that i need. Happy days!

once i get the interface i'll be laughing. Can't believe i f**ked about for hours and hours pulling my hair out when all it was was a dirty connection!
Btw, see the yellow plug for the lambda? what lambda plugs straight up to it, and same for AUX plug?
I had to run 2 temporary wires to the fuel pump, according to EFi's wiring diagram, pin 1 on aux socket is for the pump

The lambda plug is used for mapping and the aux plug has extras on it like launch control and shift light

ok, after a quick google i'm guessing the innovate LC1 wide band will plug straight up
the pin on ecu for fuel pump traces back to P1 on aux plug
