Fellas,
How do I determine which ball joints I should be buying ?
There seems to be various different sizes available.
Thanks in advance.

Is it that simple Unsure
I thought they differed in other ways depending if you had PAS or not.
Great if its that cut and dry, I can definitely measure things.

They changed the ball joint size on the facelift cars, but most cars have been messed around with, so your car may not have the correct hubs on.

But either way, just undo the ball joint, drop the wishbone down and have a butchers Smile

I'd drop your driver side balljoint out.

Dropping the passenger side will almost certainly result in the driveshaft popping out of the gearbox and spilling gearbox oil all over your driveway

Speaking from experience LOL

If yours is a R-reg then most likely 16mm balljoints but I'd check to be sure

MMm, point noted, thanks.
I am changing the ball joints as I have roller P bushes coming and new shocks.
Ie, hubs off and wishbones coming out so I will have to be really careful of the oil issue.
Thanks for the heads up.

Good to know thanks.
I will be in touch as soon as I know what I need.
How much do you want for them, by the way.
