I seem to have a small oil leak around the rear of the vacum pump,

now, i've never removed this or know whats behind it, am i right in thinging it is connected the cam and so there will be oil behind it, and is the cause of my oil leak?

if so can i get a gasket? or should i just use some sealent on this?

or is it possible my cam cover thats leaking?

There's only 2 6mm Allen bolts that hold it on iirc. There's a rubber o ring round the pump that seals it. This may need replacing but I'd just chuck some sealant round there and be done with it but cam covers leak as well.

Its the same seal on the J4 and the XU diesels, and the DW8.

it's less than a quid so I wouldn't go bodging it with goop.
