Ive had the same too with my old 6. Cracked the front bumper and pushed the slam pannel into the washer fluid bottle which push the inner arch back and it rubbed against the tyre. Absolute c***s!!!

Unlucky, its happened to me a few times, plus a massive key scratch. And now I act like a c**t, so when bad s**t happens to me I'm like 'fair play, I deserved that' and its easy to deal with.

This afternoon some arsehole taxi driver ran into the back of me, no idea how he managed it, he then mouthed sorry to me then just drove off.

The worst part was the rear corner of the arch had been folded under but luckily these cars seem to be made from coke cans and I managed to get it back almost perfectly with my hands, most of the scratches polished out too.

But he's still an arsehole.

didn't get a chance to chase him as I was parking up ready to exchange details, but I did go straight to the police with his reg number and his description.

He obviously wasnt sorry enough to leave his details!!!

Thing is there is so little damage, even if he admitted it was his fault and his insurance paid out, I would still loose out, your insurance policy will still rise if you are in an accident that isn't your fault.

Wrong. It used to but providing the repair costs are coming from their insurer and of course, its not your fault, they are no longer allowed to increase your premium.

Fack sake Wayne, that's utter gash. Least it wasn't worse. Would keep an eye out for the guy and chin him for the repairs.

Are you gonna get the deeper scratches sprayed, or use an aggressive polish / pad to reduce the visibility of the damage?
