for sale is the girlfriends 1.8 T golf gti in green passed its mot in march with the only advisory being a tyre (now changed)

it is all standard except for the dump valve which i believe to be aftermarket, bonnet bra and the wheels (vr6 highline)

has covered 146k but has many receipts for work done including the all important cam belt kit at 120k in the last month it has had a new coil loom, four genuine vw coilpacks, new battery and a full service.

clutch and flywheel have also been done in recent years.

drives very well and is in nice condition interior is recaro nice and tidy (very small damage to drivers seat bolster and would benefit from a valet.)

small bad points:
the paint on the wheels isnt great, there are a couple of small bits of lacquer peel on the bonnet and a ding underneath the sill ( jack slipped unseen from side) other than that it is up together with only the odd age related mark.

we got this because my mrs needed something for her commute to university her course is now coming to an end so we are looking for something different for local driving

price is now £1450 had lots spent and is now up together

I'd take the bra off if I was you. Its either covering something up and/or f**king the paintwork.

Was on there when we got it so just chucked it back on. One of the bits of lacquer peel is on the front edge.
think in going to to get the bonnet paint sorted refurb the wheels and just run it with 1600 signs in it for a bit see what happens.
Colour seems to be a big issue. Funny considering if it was something else you could call it British racing green and it would be ok lol.

Silver and black ones in the same condition seem to sell for a fair chunk more as well.
