Hello all,
I have a set of 406 Brembos with OEM brake pads and Tarox G88 discs.
The other day i was in a small track day. After moderate braking into a high speed corner and then hard braking in to a slow corner - during the hard braking (which is takes place 3 seconds after the fast corner), i felt for half a second that there are no brakes, only the pedal jerked. After 0.5 seconds the brakes came on hard again.
It happened to me twice that day, at the same corner and its a bit concerning. The discs and pads are rather new (less than 6 months) and are not working hard on a daily basis.
Any ideas? on normal and even hard driving out of the track they work perfectly.

Pads or disks low, air in fluid or leak somewhere? Possible air leak.

I have a bit of a small brake problem, first press of the pedal feels as it should, second press and the bite point is higher up and very hard??

All sorted, have no clue as to why but when i refitted beam lines up after beam refitted and bled its solved it some how ???!!

Sounds like the ABS kicking in.

I don't think it is the ABS. There is Not braking for half a second. with ABS you still feel a (small) braking weight transfer.
