I have a Quaife, they are very good in my opinion.

Some people use Kazz plate diffs, or Tran-X plate diffs with good results.

Prices are usually around the £600 mark. Bear in mind though that plate diffs require periodic adjustment and servicing whereas the Quaife is a fit and forget item. Yes

Interesting but very techically detailed comparison writeup of the Quaife and the similar US-manufactured Guard ATB. Concludes by detailed disassembly and examination that they are both high quality units.

Only good thing about the ATB is it's stronger than the std Diff, Plates are the way forward

Care to enlighten everyone with your experiences? I've run plate diffs in my daily drivers without issue, loved it in fact!
