Mounted my gsxr bodies last week. l noticed they make a whistling noise when l rev the engine. But they dont whistle on tickover. Any idea?

Air leak by the sound of it. Spray some easy start near the joints one by one, if it revs up then you've found your leak.

Have tried, but cant find any leak. l run small silicon hoses from itch runner to a plenum. lf l take off hoses one by one the rev get higher. lf it was a leak l guess that wouldnt happen.

Have the butterflies got a poppet valve on them or is idle controlled on setting screws?

Setting screws, but they are all in closed possition.
