2.2 ST TDCI Mondeo Dan, its quick ish, easily mapped and good on juice, i use mine to tow the 306 to Trackdays it towed the 6 to Aberdeen last year and then down to knockhill and back home again averaged 36mpg towing and is in the 40's just normal around town driving. Apparently they do better mpg after mapping to. Really comfy for a daily and not too expensive to buy. If you want to try one to see what they're like to drive gimme a shout you can come up and try it to get an idea if you want Thumbs up

Astor 306 hdi remapped to 125bhp with straight through exhaust. Not loud but it made hell of a difference to power ditching the cat. Sailed through mot emissions on sat as well.

The most practical thing i could afford for 1250 pounds 11 months ago, 2.5l subaru with a stupidly long name: Legacy Grandwagon Lancaster Limited Edition. Laugh my ass off but its been perfect for the roads / snow.

I like those wheels, what are they?

They are the 'new' version of the SL434's group A strong alloys, the centre cap hole is slightly smaller than the original 205 turbo cup SL434's, the originals use the original 1.9 Speedline Lion centre caps. The ones on my avatar are the new versions i got off eBay.

The new ones are easily available from a few stockists Thumbs up

Currently my daily is my bike or the GF's car LOL

Audi A3 Sportback 2008 with 1.8 TFSI engine. Remapped to ~220hp and 350nm (260 lb ft). H&R lowering springs. It's a nice car to drive around - very different from 306 but 306 doesn't feel any "lesser" after driving the Audi..
