Hello fellow members,As above, i am waiting on a Ph1 2.4 turns Xsara VTS steering rack. I have read about how much of a difference this makes on the 6. But what is actually done when refurbishing one of these steering racks except for changing the track rod ends and cleaning them?? Thanks in advance for any advice  Cheers |

Just noticed i placed this in the transmission part instead of suspension. Is it possible for an Admin to transfer it to the right section? Sorry |

Track rods need changing too different length than a Gti6 Also PAS ram needs to be the one off the Gti6 rack,as this is what limits your right hand lock to stop wheel to gearbox contact. If your talking about a DIY refurb changing boot/track rods and TRE's is about it. If your taking it to a company that refurbs racks they will strip it down and check the internals for wear/tear ________________________________________ Red GTB1756 powered Fabia VRS daily driver,LBSC Gti6 eater........Mac1 ZR R1 kit car build in progress. |

if you are capable then you can change the rack bushes and bearings, check the pinion etc.________________________________________ need a part number? get on here - http://public.servicebox.peugeot.comBring on the Trumpets. |
