Hi, I need to buy a new Engine mount (top mount by the Fuel rail).
Euro Car Parts have ordered one ready for me tomorrow (all though i'm not committed to buy).
Ideally i want to sort it ASAP because my exhaust keeps coming loose due to movement.

The Mount is made by Q-Drive and i want to know what your experiences are with this make. Or what you advise i get.

Thanks

I would advise you go get genuine peugeot.

also to replace the lower engine mount as that is more likely to be the one causing the exhaust issues.

also is it an i.e fitting kit? as aftermarket ones are nowhere near good enough.

I also agree with welshpug. I had the same happening with the exhaust. It was a knackered top mount cradle and lower mount. Also, the pug fitting kit is indeed much better and worth the extra cash.

Taking it to Colin at Pug performance tomorrow for him to take a look and decide if it's the Mount or mounting area.

I have a Q-drive one and it seems the rubber has gone soft allowing enough movement for me to feel inside the car. I'm assuming as the weight of the engine sits on top of this it would only take the rubber being softer and of s**t quality allowing the movement.

I had a chat with Daveyboy about it as he knows his eggs and he carried out my chassis repair last year. Somehow it'd come loose so I tightened it as much as I could and the movement is still there. I would also like to note that my bottom engine mount is a brand new OE item and I have just installed brand new OE top buffers (the triangular ones)

In short it looks like I'll be getting a pug one. Buy cheap buy twice Sad
