Picked up a Rallye today and the oil temp gauge drops all the way down when I accelerate with full throttle. It will then climb back up within a couple of seconds on no throttle or part throttle. It sat steadily below 90 and every other gauge works just fine.
Any ideas?

Dodgy instrument cluster or wiring leading from sensor most likely.

Pretty sure they are yeh. I would pull the plug off the sensor as its on the front of the sump could get corroded easy. Worth a spray and a clean up then sort all the earths. Could always swap my clocks if it still don't cure it just to see if it fixes.

I'll try the gearbox earth tomorrow.
Ph3 clocks would look a lot nicer in the Rallye I think.
