So as you al know i bught a very sad black 6 for a bargain of £140 fixed a few things on her but still had issues with no working fans and a mega rusty rear panel. So i ripped out the mint interior and re fitted the shagged old one, popped her on gumtree and made myself £600. I did spend a fair bit on her with the refurbed rear beam etc but as i took the mint gear knob and interior back out i broke even.

the plan was always to buy another 6 and my other half wanted a black one (demanding much) so after a hunt i found one, a rather minty one in comparison to what i had (minus a drivers door handle) only issue, it was in Wales

I boarded a plane for 1 and a half hours and then endured the 5 hour drive home that then turned out to be almost 9 hours haha.

Stuck on brake lights cause me to be pulled by police and then took 2 hours to fix as had to wait on the break down ppl to come and help me drop the rack so i could fix the switch. I ended up just taking the tools off him and doing it myself as he was adamant it couldnt be fixed at road side. pppfffttt i should him! anyways here she is

1998 R reg
black
102k miles
crystal headlights
brand new standard exhaust
5 cyclones with really good tyres
wheels have some kerb rash but nothing major
tear on drivers bolster at the stitiching but rest of interior is mint
MOT July

couple of pics i have, i changed the front badge to a white one but thats all ive done so far, not even washed her lol

she needs a fog light a 2 new door cards, all were given with the car Smile

all for the cost of £300

You dropped the rack change a brake light switch? presume you are meaning the steering column?

Looks a nice car.

Haha yeah that's what I meant, took the plastic off and then unbolted the four bolts and dropped the steering wheel
Down a bit so I could get my hand in to get the switch
