Well its an EIS one but yeah they are Aluminum too.

They make OEM rads for old Merc's and are supposedly good quality too

It looks like the cheap razor sharp items you can get from motor factors.

Not got the connection for oil modine in picDunno

And the OE number quoted is not recognised at all on service boxDunno

I would say this one below is for gti6Yes

As the OE number quoted matches service boxWink

It's only 22mm thick core, gti6 and rallye are 32mm, so kev's linky at 3 times the price is correct.

Yes I did see the other ones on there. The one at £97 says Valeo on it so should be good quality still at a good price. Carparts4less is a sister company of euro car parts in case anyone was wondering.

EIS rads arent the best tbh, we fitted one to a vaux zafira, was thinner than original and started to leak

after 600 miles, Euro car parts gave us another one which also leaked. According to other peeps

in the trade, there have been quite a few issues with these radiators. Avoid.

Mine looks the same as the one in the link but when looking at the photo close up it does look more razor sharp fins than mine.

Mine is thinner than standard valeo but not by 10mm. Its very similar to a Nissens Dunno

I'd stick with Nissens to be honest, at least that way you know you're getting a quality product. Yes

thermostat opens at 83 degrees, so probably not, it'll keep the coolant down to that temp better, but no cooler due to the stat.

Mine has always run slightly cooler with the Nissens rad installed, not hotter.
