So as winter has nearly left us and my battle of keeping the car protected from road salt and grime is nearly over i thought i would share a few pics that a friend of mine took whilst we were out for a B road blast. Needless to say stone chips from potholes are still p**sing me off but hey thats a life long battle here in the UK LOL

So condition wise im quite happy with the 6 but when spring officially arrives the MOP will come out to play as the car will under go a 2 day deep clean.

without further a do heres how she stands after the winter so far.

Thanks for looking. As im sure everyone is aware by now yes my suspension is broken and it fails its MOT yearly Laugh my ass off

It's unlucky that your suspension collapsed as you happened to be driving through a ford. Sad

306's can go thru water, Had mine upto the bottom of the headlights this year a few times, Christ I've had 205's with water on the front edge of the bonnet, only thing I've found it buggered the fans up on my last 406

On both 6's I've had the scoop/snorkel in this case had become detatched from the airbox, which doesn't inspire me with confidence when it comes to submerging the car in water. LOL

Since the joint at which the snorkel meets the intake is'nt actually sealed (it just clips together) it doesn't make much difference if its on or not. A bit of self-amalgamating tape round the join works a treat though.

Roll eyes I could be biased but I prefer vile, vagina is much too dark for my taste and slightly boring to look at. My meridian was vagina so that's how I formed my opinion Smile

Do it no one needs a rear wiper anyway they're overrated LOL thanks mate i think black compliments the blue/purple very well. As for the clones I stupidly left them on over winter and they have a few chips on them so they will be getting refurbed again soon.

Yes I was hiding LOL I agree with the wiper comment but the bloody wipe a lot better IMO.

Yes in my case i have a bit of stainless welded in the box and the snorkel pipe fits very tightly over it creating a good seal. I would never venture in to water that deep anyway I'd be too worried about getting the car dirty LOL as for hydro lock this could never happen to me due to the warning system I have in place.

The water would get me wet first due to it being low way before it could get the engine Laugh my ass off

Looks sweet! You should pop some spacers on the rear wheels tho push them out to the arches. They look a little lost in there! Keep up the good work
