Hi guys, stepping up the track car assault on my rallye.just needing some advice about removing it, what parts I needed?

So I things I need: 406 master brake cylinder
Bias valve
Pipe work? ? braided lines
Do I need to relocate the cylinder? Any advice/tips would be great.

you can still use the standard rallye/6 master cylinder,

search for removing abs in the brake section, theres a few posts with some usefull info.

Simply some t pieces from a non abs 306, scrapyard only as tthey are nfp, thats all.

Bias valve only required if load compensator removed.

See I don t even now if mine had a load compensator? Was thinking I needing a 406 master cylinder if did nt hav/got rid of the compensator.can I still use a bias valve with the compensator in?

Rallye is classed as phase 2, so I guess you do have the brake compensator Sam Yes

Have a look under the rear of the car, on the drivers side of the beam you should see a plate and a bit of flexi hose, if you do not have that, you have EBD controlling it, but this is phase 3 only IIRC.


I need to get this all done on mine, just cant be bothered Laugh

yeah im remove ABS,Power steering,Battery from engine bay.Cant wait till next month to start stripping all the dirty suff of my engine bay and start painting it up Smile

So does the bias valve take over the control of EBC controller.

Bias valve just limits the pressure to the rears so you don't end up locking up and spinning constantly. Dunno what the deal with the electronic brake bits are, mine only had ABS.

ok,what pipe work do you need to run the bais valve?

Bin the compensatorYes

Run a single line under car to rear with bias valve in, T piece near rear beam with a line to each sideThumbs up

Then a T piece on bulkhead with a line to each front sideSmile
