Can you use eibach lowering springs on standard shocks?

This was a factory option. Shocks wear quicker apparently but if they've done 100k it isn't really a concern!

    yes they work just fine, its only 30mm.

    I'd say that the Eibach is a better quality spring than the ones fitted as standard. I certainly did'nt feel the ride suffered as a result of fitting them.

    Sorry wasn't very clear, I was led to believe you should run shorter dampers with -30mm eibach springs or does this not matter? Have heard good things about the springs though.

    upto about 30-40mm your alright on standard shocks. Any more and ideally you need some shorter shocks like B8s
