You only have to look on eBay to see the prices of these cars:

1 x listed at £8.6k (has 10k more miles on the clock)
1 x listed at £9990
and the rest, 17 x listed at over £10k, most of which around £12k

So questioning the price seems a bit re-donkulous to me Thumbs up

So does your assesment of Ebay as of those 17, 8 are sold all by the same dealer and all had significantly less miles on all of them. The cheap one seems to have gone now with the remainder of the ones for sale again all have less miles on them.

As barry.rs has highlighted good luck selling for ~£10k when you've offered up the Px cost.

Ah you are correct in regards to eBay but it gives an idea of price. Defo worth £8k - £10k

Got nothing to lose really as he doesn't need the money. Not helping myself I know but if someone offered £9k he'd probably accept. If someone offered £8,500 he may still part ex for £8k to save hassle. He's that sort of bloke.

£7500 and a pack of digestives? Might stretch to chocolate for a hassle free sale.

might be better to list it somewhere else if he really wants to sell it? this is a Peugeot sight so you are unlikely to sell a Vauxhall on here. would be better to sign up on a vxr forum and list it there or just stick it on pistonheads?

depends how bothered you or he is about selling it, as it is a great car.

pistonheads costs money now. May give it a go. Did try the VXR forum but have to have so many posts to sell something. Haven't had the time to be honest. I'll see you in a bit Carl. Catch up a bit

The dealer must have had plenty of money in the BMW so could afford to be generous with the part ex.

Most wouldn't give more than £9k assuming your dealer retail of £12k is correct.
